Reflection time

This year I learned how to understand and use the language of geometry.

An important decision I made this year is to get more jobs to respect the school and make it a green gold school.

One goal I accomplished this year is to be a peer mediator and all other jobs in the school so i can help the school.

This year I tried to be a better person by saying a house captain speech for a house captain but then i didn't make it in.

My favorite memory from this year was when I was in a group and i was working together.

The funniest thing that happened this year was when mrs g had to do a dance for us

Talking about camp 

This term we are talking about camp that is coming up in 1 week or 2 weeks and 3 days, We have been looking at some picture past the few years before then we did the activity's. 

youth town 
At youth town we were doing basketball at basketball we were doing was a game when you here a number wait wait wait 1 step forgotten make a line of 2 groups then when we hear a number we run like 6,6 people run from the group. 

Cross country 
we had to do cross country it was tiering for me but I got more exercise and I was happy when it is going to be the last day i want to be in the inter schools.

science rotations 
we were doing science rotations to see what can float I liked room 19 the rockets we made rockets small one and we had to make a definition and then we had to write it actually happened so this is what we wrote we wrote the teacher filled up 1/3 of the film canister with 1/3 of the water. she placed a berroca tablet inside the canister and quickly closed the top. she put the canister on the ground and we waited about 20 seconds and the canister exploded. the bottom of the lid popped of the canister. it was awesome.

St John first aid 
our class went in the auditorium to see mac the St John first aid we had to learn how to save lives or if there is a fire we had learnt a lot of things so we can save lives.

Trip to pakuranga intermediate 
we went on a trip to pakuranga intermediate to see how the intermediate looks like we did the mili mili part of the kapa haka and lots more we had lots of fun. 

Mountain Biking 
our class was doing mountain biking I was learning how to ride a bike then a few weeks later I learnt how to ride a bike it was really cool the hard bit for me was in the field it made me go slower. 
  

Hightlight of the past 5 weeks

over the last exciting  weeks we have done a lot with our student teacher it was fun to do the activities together. Our student teacher is a calm,peacefully,and noisy teacher and we like that

we have been making biospheres.biospheres are like little doll houses but big but not small we made our own and it came out good we made the biospheres because we said what if the world came uninhabitable and we made them so if the earth was uninhabitable then we can go to mars and make the biosphere there so we can live on.

We have been making planets to go with bio-domes for our planet we made it out of paper mache we had to do 4 layers to make it harden then Mrs G painted them with Michael they looked amazing it was really nice we had to make blurbs for the planets we typed up if we can live on it why or if we cant live on it and why and some reasons.

We have been reading this book called between two ends we liked the book and we like when our student teacher said different ascents for the pirates it is so funny she is nice for us and you if you know her well I do and room 20.

We have been doing swimming for the whole term and it is still going of course we have 2 groups one of the groups are called the non confident squirtles and the confident blastoise   non confident go on Monday and Wednesday  and confident do it on a Tuesday and Thursday we all do it on a Friday we are all learning new things.

we have been doing dance for the Year6 dinner and dance we all did it except for me because I am not allowed because it apart of my religion so I am not going to the dinner and dance only graduation I cant wait for it so they all are practicing with the boys and girls they cant wait.

 WAL how to paint using different techniques.
 This is how we made these are the steps for this 

1.  we ruled half way the page 
2.  we got red orange and yellow paint 
3.  we we started with yellow on the line and blended it with orange then the orange blended with the red.
4.  we got the paint blue and white and made the see like mine and put some white on top of the blue to make it nice 
5. we made a silhouette of the sky tower  
6. we glued it on and if you want you can put white and black paper like mine.

My reflection 

I think I have done a really good job because I like the art and it is a nice artwork and it looks beautiful and I like it, it was trick for me to draw the sky tower the top at the point. it was easy to do the rest.

Term 1 week 5 2016

I have been learning about making music with our bodies.  We have learned it make it with our hands mouths, fingers,legs and we spoke it. We have learned a lot from music  

I have leaned about patterns with taking a line for a walk and we took a photo of our selves.  I have been learning a lot from patterns making them whisper and dark, whisper is wide out and dark is right close together.  Then we are making  a big portrait of our self's.

I have played a lot of games with brad and mega tron and they told us more games called cowgirl and cowboy, Capture the flag,I know one but I don't know the name of the game it is when there is 2 people who are sick at the hospital and the rest of the class has a ball and has to dribble away from the sick people and we have a lot more games and we have a lot of fun.

I have learnt about big numbers in maths I did not know

TERM 2 WEEK 8

  solar system 

Last week our class made a solar system and we put objects for the planets and the sun to see how big it is because we a going to make a solar system with paper mache, we are going to make it in week 9 or next term, we are going to make it like the same thing in the office with the hot air balloons.

Netball field day 

Past these 2 weeks our netball field day we were getting in groups to play our games, we played 6 games and we had one to sit and watch the other team to support them, we were versing schools that had never played netball, my team that were with Mrs G we only won 2 games, we were just having fun and 1 team won all of the games it was fun.

The green book 

Mrs g found a book called the green book so she popped the green book up on the screen and she read it to us and it is interesting and it is about our inquiry topic, when a family had to get out of earth, they had to live on a different planet so the found a planet, people came and  said welcome to this planet the person said to the father the youngest has to name this planet and the youngest names the planet shine,  that is the only part we stopped at it was so interesting that we want to read more and more chapters.

WK2 Term 2

Week2 Tearm2 

This term past these 2 weeks we are learning about space and on Friday 13 may we did rugby not the rugby game some games.We our whole class and I think the whole year 6 we are learning about space we were first went in to the auditorium and we got a surprised and we were watching a movie called WALL-E  was our movie and our question was what would you do if the earth was like what happened in WALL-E so some people went in space and lived there for 700 years and they were lazy so they came bake to earth and eve fixed WALL-E and he forgot about his whole life but the he know knows his life and then after the movie we had a treasure hunt about space and then we found then only up to 13 cause Mrs graham and Mrs Holden forgot all about it them but my team we were just figuring all about the answers so we got only 2 half left, then we looked and said the answers to the rest of the question there were only 18 questions then we went home.

On Friday 13 may the people for rugby came and we played rugby and the whole school came but not at once there were only 4 classes at a time and we went in the middle block and the first thing we played was super girl and batgirl or super boy and batman and then we played zombie attack we played and I think it was like cow girl and cow boy but you have to start with one zombie and then you have to tag one person get their ball that is the brain and through it away and then they are a zombie after that we came all together with the first 4 classes we were the first and then the other three classes we had questions like did you have fun? Did you like the game? Behave at home and then tell them? after that we got notices at the end of it then we went back to class.

On Friday 13 may we did jump jam and it was fun we had to do 3 or 2 songs we did not know the moves for it and we just danced around and then we had a lot of fun and then we had to do who let the dogs out that was our last song and the Mrs h comes and said I got a lot of random song to do cause we have done some a lot of times so we had slight a little change so we did jump jam for half and hour and it was so much fun.

Term 1 week 10 2016

I have been learning about science this term I have been doing so much things like let me think

 I have been learning about science because science in a van came and showed us some experiments so we chose a person who had done science and I chose Michael Faraday and I did a poster about him and I made a diagram and that is our main subject this term

My Reflection~I have learned how to upload a video on blogger I have learned to care for others in the group and I am very proud and we had to have a lot of practices to do this video and then we finally did it and upload it on blogger.Next time I will help others and let them comunicate to others

Learning to make a 3-D Collage

My Reflection:

1. Today Room 25 and I went on a trip to Te Tuhi and we were making a 3-D collage and we had 5 steps to make a 3-D collage after we had finished so we went to art gallery to see what happened in japan in the 2 voice room that is grey and there is an another room that is part of the room all about artists and then we went back to school.
