My Reflection~
I am learning ho to write a narrative story.
I felt it was hard then it went easy for me.
It was tricky to put it as a book and have the book long.
I could decorate the chapter when it said chapter 1.
My new step is going to be having more adjectives to make it interesting

I was learning to write a show don't tell story about my speech.
It was hard for me because it was hard to think of some show it but don't tell. It was easy because I got the hang of it and knew what to do.

This is a information report about marine conservation people from different groups named nurdles, over fishing,gyres and oil spills  came and made another group like this

I think I did a good job with my speech and this was kind of a hard topic then I did it and then i had to reread it to see if was making sense after that I went to the teacher so that she could see it

Bike skills 

What we did in bike skills was that some people didn't know how to ride a bike that went to the chess area and learnt how to ride a bike and I was one of those people and first we did was we were pushing and gliding and then we started to put one foot on the peddle and then we pushed and tried to ride the bike. I was feeling a lit scared because the other bikes were like in front of me and I had a lot of goes then i couldn't even do it and then I am going to have a try next week Wednesday.

Cross country training 

The year 4,5,6 were doing cross country on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we were walking on Tuesday and we were running on Thursday so we had to go around the block and back again,we had teacher to lead us the way and cheering us up and we were running and I came 2 from the class every single time, so after that we had to sit in our classes after our run and on Tuesday George came first from our class and I came second from our class,On Thursday Olidah came first from our class and I came second again, then we had lunch yummy.

Art 

For our art we are doing wild flowers using a paper and a dice the paper had different parts of a flower in any random way and this is how the sheet looks like I will show you at the end  when I finished writing about the lovely art we are doing,This is the process we did it in it is easy process,first we did was get the sheet and blank piece of white paper secondly we get a dice and roll it and we had to get that pattern.

Reflection~
I think I did a great job because this speech was a little bit hard but I kept going and I finished my planner. I had to do this planner so It can be easier to type up my speech and so you don't have to think because you have a planner. It was tricky for me find some reasons so I kept thinking and got some reasons.

WAL how to write a persuasive speech 
I have been learning about to make a speech template or planner to use a structure your speech.
We read speeches of the past students to try and identify our susses criteria. 

Holiday Commercials

My Reflection

I was learning how to use persuasive techniques. We learnt about the different ways to hook our audience in and different techniques. We tried to make it interesting to watch and a little funny. We watched some advertisements to get some ideas.

We learnt about 6 techniques to making a good add. First was slogan, something catchy that stays in your head. The second one was Repetition, saying the same thing over and over to stick it into your brain. The third one was Emotional Appeal, making someone feel happy or sad for someone. The forth one was bandwagon, making someone will left out so they will want to do it. The fifth one was Testimonial, feelings. The last one was Expert Opinion, getting an expert to say a fact so people will believe it.

We used slogan, ours was 'Get 'em Happy!' and we used Emotional Appeal by making the children happy, sad and angry at different times. We kind of did bandwagon, to make people sad that they can't have quiet and happiness unless they try it.

We could improve by adding animations and making it funny. We could also use more of the techniques.

Writing an Explanation

My Reflection~WAL how to write an explanation.  We read Anahita's explanation about rubbish affecting marine life. Then we looked at another explanation called Why do people get goose bumps?So then we did an activity about Making Organic Compost and we had to highlight the time order,label the title, technical words and conclusion links and then we got to make our on and I have done a great job on my explanation.
I was learning how to write an explanation because the book birds of prey, we did not know what it meant then we wrote and explanation and we knew what is meant.  I felt I could do anything so I feel happy and positive.  It was tricky to make the paragraphs and it was tricky to put the labels of the birds. I could make the examples much more different.  I think my next step is to tell more about the falcon I was labeling.

My First Day of Year 6

My Reflection~ I have been writing and typing about the first day of year 6 and I had to write how I feel,what it looks like and what it sounds like and I had remembered all about the first day and I did feel the warm cosy in side.The next step for me is to space my paragraphs properly I have done a good job.
